Why this research matters

The established research on allostatic load (McEwen, 1998), epigenetic programming (Weaver et al., 2004), and the ACE study (Felitti et al., 1998) converges on a finding that mainstream interventions rarely address: the systems that regulate weight, behavior, and health are shaped by experience that precedes conscious memory.

No diet and no cognitive framework alone can fully reach a system that operates below the level where those tools work. This is not a critique of existing approaches โ€” it is a recognition that a different layer exists, and that it can be explored.

The methodology

The analysis method uses semantic vector analysis โ€” specifically RoBERTa-based subspace modeling โ€” to identify subcognitive patterns in open-ended language responses. The approach is grounded in the observation that people reveal more in how they describe their experience than in what they explicitly say.

This is not a diagnostic instrument. It is a pattern-mapping tool โ€” designed to surface what may be running below conscious awareness, and to complement, never replace, professional care.
